The Complete Dick Tracy Volume 15 contains the strips written and drawn by Chester Gould originally published in newspapers between the dates April 19th, 1953 and October 24thth, 1954.
It includes the following storylines:

The book also includes the original supplemental essay "A Good Samaritan...Stabbed to death" by Max Allan Collins.

- This volume contains a reproduction of the solution to the Dick Tracy Mystery Contest, which had not been re-published since it initial appearance in the Chicago Tribune in January & February of 1949. The contest-related strips had previously been reprinted in The Complete Dick Tracy Vol. 12, and this material was also made available to read for free at IDW's Library of American Comics blog, with readers encouraged to send in their solutions.
- This volume includes the first in the Dick Tracy Family Album & Mug Shot Files series. This feature would replace the re-cap of storylines from the previous volume that had debuted in The Complete Dick Tracy Vol. 7.
